Since even the old Stink Child Comics days, I’ve wanted t see my characters in a physical form. Be it plushies, or action figures, anything. The problem is, I could never afford to have some toy company put these things together.

The other day I got an idea, funnily enough after seeing a video of a guy modifying My Little Pony figures so they were more show-accurate. The idea was that I could model something out of Sculpey, cast it, and produce something myself. It’d take work, sure, but I’d like there to be something more physical that’s something from my strip. Something I can have and that maybe the readers would also like.

I wondered what the first thing should be? A Goblin? Claudette? Then I remembered a comment in a recent strip about the sleeping kobolds. YES! A sleeping kobold!

The following are some Work in Progress pictures of the scupture. It’s unfinished and still kinda rough around the edges, but something to give you guys, a little idea of what’s coming down the No Dice pipe.

If this goes well, there’s a chance I’ll do another one in the future. I’d like to attempt the goblin and Claudette ones I mentioned, maybe some other characters as well.

The scuplt is now done, baked and sanded. Gonna start casting later in the week.

We’ve gotten some fan art. One is new, and one is rather old that I forgot to post (sorry about that!) First is the newer one, from Rasmus Pettersson doing his rendition of Rakshasa Claudette in a kind of tribal motif.Second, around December I asked for some guest strips but instead decided to do the story about Calias going to the North Pole. However Liam Sneath was cool enough to send in a guest strip for NEW Death Elf brand Kobold Curry!
