While sketching in a new style a couple weeks ago, I doodled up a character that I named Vanessa Sloane: Monster Hunter. At the time I don’t think I really planned on using her as any more than a one-off sketch. Soon after, I remembered an idea a friend and I kinda worked on but it didn’t pan out. So I took Vanessa and wrote a small 10 page story for introductory purposes and have put it together in a PDF for the low low price of $1.

If there’s enough interest, I’ll do the follow-up, so if you like it, be sure to tell your friends and have them buy a copy as well. I’ll keep doing them as long as people keep reading them.
