I think it’s more likely the _kobolds_ are picky toward outsiders. Even if they’d been ordered to be nicer to travelers, old habits die hard.

I believe i’ve saw this somewhere in the past…. ah now I remember! Bluerock!

But…. since everyone turned to gold, why that dorf guy is still so picky to outsiders? I mean, now it’s mostly a kobold city (which were outsiders back then =P)
